Venezuela Parliamentary Summit On Global Warming I
The joy of seeing and understanding is the most perfect gift of nature. "ALBERT EINSTEIN considered relevant importance is given to the holding of the First International Parliamentary Summit on Global Warming and Climate Change, with the assistance of 22 countries Latin America and the Caribbean in the room Protocolar National Assembly (AN) No doubt, a phenomenon that worries the world: global warming and its direct effect, climate change, which occupies much of the efforts of the international scientific community to study and control it, because, they say, threatens the future of humanity. This reality can not be ignored, hence the importance of this Summit, which generates actions, agreements, alliances to counter this sad reality and is affecting us. Why so worried? Leading scientists agree that increasing the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere is causing climate changes. They also agree that emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs) have been intense since the Industrial Revolution, after which time the action of man over nature became intense.
Remember the reader, that Global Warming is a term commonly used in two ways: • It is the phenomenon observed in the temperature measurements showing an increase in average temperature of Earth's atmosphere and oceans in recent decades. • It is a theory that predicts, based on projections based on computer simulations, future growth temperatures. Sometimes used the names change, which means any change in climate or anthropogenic climate change, which is implicitly the influence of human activity. Global warming and greenhouse effect are not synonymous. The greenhouse effect enhanced by pollution can be, according to some theories, the cause of observed global warming. The planet's temperature has been rising since the mid-nineteenth century, when it ended the period known as the Little Ice Age. As others have written, keep in mind that any kind of climate change also involves changes in other variables. The complexity of the problem and its multiple interactions make the only way to evaluate these changes is through the use of computational models that try to simulate the physics of the atmosphere and ocean and have limited accuracy due to ignorance of how the atmosphere.
Program specializing in Quality Management and Productivity of Faces at the University of Carabobo, has been insisting on its participants and has contributed to the general public which represents this commitment to not only deal on global warming, but avoid at all coastal pollution from the atmosphere, waters, firms and even the community to ensure an environment that ensures health, quality of life. This has already held several workshops, seminars emphasizing the social responsibility and make him see the participants for their commitment to this fact. Program welcomes the holding of this Summit, which aims to harmonize the legislative process in Latin America to join forces in pursuit of an instrument to defend our bio-diversity. The event was set up by the second vice president of the National Assembly, Jose Albornoz, representing the European Parliament and Council, who welcomed them to the present. During the special session yielded two separate awards, who are part of the UN team (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) won the Nobel Peace Prize for his scientific research on climate change, glaciers, oceanography, and natural disasters, specifically Gino Casassa and Jorge Carrasco.
A framed this special session at the First Summit on climate change to the construction of the Charter of the Environment for Latin America and the Caribbean, attended by members of the Latin American Parliament deputies, the Andean Parliament. Parlacen, international delegates, GRULAC, in addition to the two illustrious visitors, Nobel Peace prizes. During his speech, Albornoz underscored the importance of meeting to Venezuela, Latin America and the Caribbean. "For us it is key this time, when the sword of Simon Bolivar spaces travels in Latin America in search of union of peoples?, Said the senator. Beyond the political effects of this Summit can generate, the relevance of this serious problem facing the Earth facing the product of the effects being generated by global warming, which has serious problems originadlo in climate, drought, rain, seriously affecting many countries in agriculture, atmosphere, giving way to illnesses, and serious problems in relation to food. Unanimously the National Assembly together with the Latin American Parliament Chapter Venezuela, approved request to the UN to declare an environmental emergency on planet Earth, and to update Latin American legislation on environmental issues, urging the ecological debt of industrialized countries poor nations and respect for indigenous habitats, which will be included in the final declaration of the First Summit on International Parliamentary global warming and climate change.
He stressed that climate change and global warming are irreversible, but we as parliamentarians, to minimize the risk adapting our legislation, "to contribute in slowing down this path of destruction the world, from Venezuela will continue to advocate for life from the perspective XXI century socialism, because we - according to the papers, which models precisely capitalism, imperialism and consumerism are the determining factors for the risk to the planet is in the degree to which is the first agreement states that: 1.-To congratulate Jorge Fernando Carrasco for being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize 2007, thanks to his outstanding academic and scientific activities. 2 .- Make a public recognition of the Nobel Peace Prize, Jorge Fernando Carrasco Serda, for his performance and dedication to scientific research on environmental issues in Latin America also express our support for all initiatives undertaken by researchers who devote their lives and efforts to seek sustainable development. The second agreement states: 1 .- To congratulate Gino homes have been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize 2007, thanks to his outstanding academic and scientific activities. 2 .- Make a public recognition of the Nobel Peace Prize, Gino Casassa, for their performance and dedication to scientific research on environmental issues in Latin America also express our support for all initiatives undertaken by researchers who devote their life and work the search for sustainable development-empresarial.com www.entorno
