Temperance is within the tarot deck the secret number XIV. After the storm passed to the Temperance need to resort to rebuild and improve what still remains. We are, without doubt, to a new stage of life where there is a different order, and attitudes must be changed to start again. "Temperance" stands for "tuning" and properly tune a metal means adding other components to give hardest. But Temperance means having balance and moderation in the delicate alchemy of adding new things to our lives.
The symbolism of the picture is very clear. A winged, an angel, he bears on his chest represents the divinity triangle floats transparently on the blue water. The water provides a very quiet power, promising peace and prosperity. Substance may be a light, a rising sun that illuminates a new dawn. The angel, who displays a huge red wings is mixing the fluid between two glasses. The red wings symbolize the desire, and the white garment symbolizes purity. As in many other tarot cards can appreciate the duality. Have to wonder if you have the strength of spirit to combine both impulses.
Temperance may refer to the union of two distinct beings who need temporary or permanent, to function as one. This not only brings us back to life as a couple, but that could be talking about a family situation, work or friendship. We also try to combine hurries to the best possible way because only opposite passions is to find the balance can progress. Confronting the deepest desires and fears is a pending irrational of all human beings. But we know we can not just discard them. We then have the temperance to be joining our lives.
Temperance calls us to sanity. He says it is imperative to recognize both sides of the coin, namely to understand that all situations have positive and negative aspects. We must not let go and be too positive, as is also good not to be pessimistic all the time. In the tarot Temperance speaks of the need to find a balance through compromise and cooperation, even though the initial impulse is to act alone.
