Young Authors With Intellectual Disability sign their literary works in the Madrid Book Fair
Rollán Nuria Garcia signed his book with great success last June 1 and the next day 8 Silvia Morales Cota sign copies of his book in the house 81 of the Zero Group editorial 18-21 hours.
The literary workshop "Writing for the pleasure of having" aimed at people with intellectual disabilities, met for months in the Cafe Gijon in Madrid to participants who submit their stories, poems and pool their literary interests. This gathering has resulted in the publication of two volumes of poetry, presented in this edition of the Madrid Book Fair: "I" by Nuria Garcia-Rollan Vaamonde, and "My suit garden," Cota Silvia Morales.
The two authors share two essential characteristics, both have Down syndrome and a passion for poetry. During the Madrid Book Fair, the publishing house of the Zero Group welcomes both authors to perform the signature of his books of poems. Nuria signed numerous copies of his work on 1 June and Silvia will present his work the next day 8.
Repsol Foundation, according to its commitment to social integration through art and culture, supports the second consecutive year the literary workshop "Writing for the pleasure of having" developed by the Association Argadini to encourage creative attitudes of those people with intellectual disabilities who are attracted to the world of literature.
Argadini Association works to improve the quality of life, personal development, educational, social, cognitive and emotional development of people with any type of disability. His name takes the origin of a Kosovo Albanian word which means "slowly, a little slower" because its methodology is always appropriate pace of learning and creativity of each person.
In the literary field, Argadini also promotes the Rosetta Literary Contest for people with intellectual disabilities or autism spectrum disorders, which meets in 2011 its fourth edition and the authors involved in the Spanish language worldwide. The book containing the winning entries of the third edition is available free online library Bubok, the first book written entirely in electronic format by people with intellectual disabilities.

The association has as its purpose ARGADINI improve the quality of life, personal development, educational, social, cognitive and emotional development of people with any type of disability and irrespective of the class or social group to which they belong and contribute to social integration and employment .
At present, the Association is working ARGADINI based on ARGADINI program lines, Emotional Education Through Creativity, for cultural and social integration of people with intellectual disabilities and autistic spectrum disorder, developing activities related to the world of art in the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza, Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia and the Prado Museum, and related to the world of literature, creating literary tours, activities in libraries and cultural centers, as well as the gathering "Writing for pleasure counting "in the Café Gijón.
